Call of Duty: Warzone Verdansk Map is Coming Back Next Year
The Call of Duty: Warzone Verdansk map will be making it’s way back to the game, but there is a catch, according to an Activision employee (via GameRant).
According to Activision’s Alex Summers, Call of Duty: Warzone will be bringing back Verdansk at some point in 2023, but only on “certain platforms, which could be good news or bad news depending on where your primarily play Call of Duty.
Due to the unpopularity of the Caldera map, it is possible that Verdansk could make a return in the main Call of Duty: Warzone game, and the revival of the map could be a great way to get players back to the game and add a spark to the Call of Duty: Warzone community at the same time.
There is another idea that with the Call of Duty: Warzone sequel in development, and believed to be set to release alongside the 2022 Call of Duty game later this year, that they could take the game back to it’s roots of battle royale gameplay, and thus feature a whole new take on Verdansk, but this is just purely speculation at this time.
